Sunday Joy!! March 1

Today was a joyful day!! Christy and Boyd came to stake conference!!! On top of that, it was a broadcast from Salt Lake and they loved it! Pres. Uchdorf, and Quentin L. Cook were both speakers and it was wonderful. There messages were timely, Also a member of the presiding Bishopric and the Sunday school were speakers also. Every single talk was excellent. They were talking to 74 stakes in Texas, Okalhoma, and New Mexico.

Jeannie and Monica Via sat in front of us, and Christy and Boyd sat on the Bench with us. It was great to be so surrounded by our investigagators. After the meeting I turned to Boyd and Christy and ask them what they learned. Boyd didn't say much, and Christy said, "I'm just speechless. I can't imagine how they knew the things I needed to hear." She went on a little about that. We walked with them to the door and then they saw some people they knew and started talking and they did not want to leave the feeling they felt. On the way to the door we introduced them to several people, Our Bishop, and Relief Society President were among them.

It was a great feeling to bring them to the point that they were happy to be there! On the way out we talked to Brother Moak about the two kids they were working with. He said they were excited about this week when we are teaching them at their house. It is so enjoyable to be a part of the missionary program.

Last night Elder Whiting spoke in Stake Conference about being a Senior Missionary. The spirit helped him prepare a talk and it was on "Multiplying your blessings." He had to read it because the spirit gave it to him that morning and he wrote it down. That was a different mode for him. but he gave a good talk.
