A week of challenges!

Wow!! This has been a week of challenges!!! We were able to visit Efrin and Yvonne, and Eric. Most of the others cancelled at the last minute. We had a media referral appointment yesterday that just ditched us. There was something weird about it anyway. They wanted us to visit them on a certain day and we were not available on that day, so we went the next day or so. She kept saying that it was has husband who had made the appointment because his name was on the referral sheet. When we went back he was never there. Now I think we realize that it was all a joke she was trying to play on him. Oh well, it is there loss.

Eric is coming along. He is planning to be baptized probably in October or November. Yvonne had her baby c section on Thursday, we ran up to the hospital to see him a couple of times. They will be coming home today. Efrin and Yvonne gave us the story this week that he wanted to wait to be baptized and she to repent, because they had tatoos and they knew they wanted to have another and did not want to have to repent about that too!! How can we deepen their roots in the Gospel when there is so much drama going on?

In good knews, Bro. Ianonie is meeting with us tonight. We have already asked him if we could teach him. He seems pretty open to us. We will go out and talk to him about it tonight. He is married with two children, one of which is a teenager. His wife is already a member and was very surprised when he agreed to let us teach him. You never know what someone is thinking.

Our Mission president called a complete mission meeting for Sunday. We are all meeting in Dallas. We don't know what the purpose is, but we think they are also meeting with the Fort Worth Missionaries also. That would be about 300-400 missionaries in one place. Wow!! Elder Whiting thinks they may be wanting to implement some kind of a program in our missions because the mission Presidents in this area just had a big meeting with General Authorities present. Elder Ballard, who spoke to our missionaries, last Monday, was one of them. That is the first time this has happened.

Found out Trevor passed the bar this week. Yippee for them!! Also wrote a note to Ben.
