Alyssa has a baptismal date!

This has been a good week. We have had an easier time keeping busy. On Wednesday Alyssa told us that she wanted to be baptized!! She is scared to death and excited all at once. This leaves a lot of uncertainty in her life. None of her family are members, her boy friend whom she planned on marrying, is against the church. She now only wants a temple marriage! Her baptism date is the same as Bills', unless something changes.

Alyssa wanted to be baptized as soon as possible, and Dec. 6 is the real first time that we can get in all the interviews and be ready. We are excited for both of them.

Efrin and Yvonne have split up, at least for this week. Maybe we could teach him without her, it would be easier to baptize him single. She is very much in charge of their relationship. We'll see.

We taught Judith today about the Bible and Book of Mormon and used several scriptures that showed how they compliment each other. Judith said she enjoyed it. We tried to give her a break from the lessons that we were teaching. We will not be teaching her again until after Thanksgiving. She is a nice lady.

Elder Whiting and I are going up to Sister Stringer's ranch tonight for a Relief Society ladies visiting teaching gathering. It will be fun and good for all. Many of the ladies are staying over night. They have a loft with matresses and they will enjoy it. We are coming home rather than stay. Michelle is thinking about staying over. That would be so good for her.

We have an appointment to teach Erick next week. That is exciting. He just needs some brush up and he will be ready for baptism.
