Our day was very busy and filled with things we needed to do. Besides washing our clothes this morning I worked on the presentation for Julie Watham that we give on Wednesday. Her mother said she loves the book that we made for her. We will just add some pages to it on Wednesday. Our subject for her this week is Authority, Joseph Smith, and the Book of Mormon.
While I worked on that, Leon worked on the report for Bro Zimmerman of all the families in the ward. He got that all done before I was finished. The Canfields called and wanted us to be sure and visit them. They said they missed us last week. So we went over there and gave them a lesson this afternoon on the scriptures. Bro. Frank ask us if we knew anyone in our church that might come over and stay with his wife so he can get out. We told him we didn't, but that he could probably call the hospital and find someone. He and his wife have said they are not interested in the church and yet they still want us to come and give them lessons. We cannot get in to baby sitting for them.
I made an oopsi at their house. They asked me to say the closing prayer and we always are in a circle and hold hands. But when I said the prayer I blessed the Cornell family rather than the Canfields! I didn't even notice it, but Leon was chuckling all the way out to the car. Thank goodness he didn't say anything in the house. I'm not sure if they heard it or not. I think maybe they did because we were all so close. I will have to tell the Cornells they got blessed today too. They will like that.
After we left the Canfields we stopped by the Corsicana Pioneer Village and toured it and took some pictures. It was a litle different, but we were not in a hurry. Afterwards we went grocery shopping and came home and had corn on the cob, baked potatoes, green salad and home made bread. It was so good!!!
Tomorrow is our zone meeting in Dallas, and we get to meet the new President. We are looking forward to meeting him and having things continue on in the mission. President Warner flew home today. :o(

I am a little jealous of your homemade bread. That sounds so good! Did you buy your corn at a roadside stand? Yummm!
How wonderful that you guys are so good at setting boundaries; ie. the Canfields were hoping that you would babysit. You knew it was impossible to do for you, so made the suggestion of the hospital. I am impressed. We love you guys!
Have a great day today!
I hope you like your new mission president!
Thanks for including so many of the details of your day. It makes me feel like we're there with you! We love you!!
