Fantastic Friday!!!

Things just seem to be winding down to an end here. We hope to hear any day that they are moving us out of here. This morning we went to visit Eric who has the smoking problem. He was at work in the Walmart car center. He really misses us and ask us to keep coming by to visit him. The store worked him 80 hours last week, so he is really pooped. Given his heart condition, he cannot last long enough to get baptized!!! We have really enjoyed him, but things have got to change soon for him.

We just visited Christy and challenged her to 1. Come to church without her "live in," 2. Tell him she wants to be baptized so he will find some identity somewhere.
Elder Whiting entertained the little boy while I taught Christy the lesson. She doesn't always understand everything, but we left her with a pretty strong challenge.


This afternoon we are going to visit Matt and Iris and family. We are giving them a lesson on tithing and Jesus Christ. Then back to the church to pick up Jeanie and take her to the Dallas Temple for Baptisms for the dead. Jeannie is very excited. It is a stake sponsored baptism for all of the new people we have baptized, who haven't had the opportunity to attend the temple. Mark, Christy and Boyd, Ashley, Johnny, Juho, and Donny are going too. That will be an exciting time for us to see them there too. I wish Alan was here to go too. That would make me cry. Maybe we can take Diana next time. (We set a baptism date for her on June the 20th yesterday.)
