It is very uplifting to know that we have a busy week ahead of us. Tonight we did a family home evening with the Garst Family on the Priesthood. We thought it was a great lesson. We talked about earthly treasures versus Heavenly Treasures that moth or dust doth not corrupt, (Matthew 6.) They seemed to enjoy it also.
We have a Dr. appointment with Dr. Smith tomorrow, as well as a Chiropractic appointment also, in FLorence, Texas. We have an appointment to teach Judith in the afternoon. Sister Stringer is going with us, she is the RS President here. She is close to Judith's age and we want them to become acquainted. WE are teaching Judith the 2nd lesson and we will talk about her progression towards baptism and see what her reaction is. We need to start talking about prayer also, so she can follow the pattern of prayer that we use.
I am excited to teach Judith again because she is so pleasant and loves to have us come. We will see where tomorrow takes us.
We have interviews with the Mission President on Thursday, and Zone Conference on Friday. We look forward to the spiritual boost that we feel on those occasions.
We have our Spanish class on Wednesday nights as well as our Family Relations Class.
We are teaching Bill on Wednesday morning at the church. We are trying to get him away from home, so we can work on his praying to know that the Church is true. It is not a very positive environment at his home. We are trying to help him feel the Spirit and move forward in his being ready.
We are also waiting, this week, to hear from Alysa and her decision to move forward with her testimony and baptism. The only things we can do is pray and wait for her to call us. That is hard.
I'm so grateful for a loving Heavenly Father who watches over us and helps us to be equal to the things that he has us do. We are so blessed.
