Yesterday was Boyd's Baptism and it pretty well came off sweet. Boyd was excited to be baptized. He forgot to plug his nose and got a little water, but he survived. Today, (Sunday) Elder Whiting confirmed him a member. Also Elder Whiting confirmed Monica today too. Elder Cragun was suppose to confirm Monica, but he did not get there in time, so Elder Whiting did that also. That all took place in the Sherman First Ward. We also had Elder Hathaway's missionary farewell talk. He is leaving for the Salt Lake Mission and has worked a lot with the missionaries here in Sherman. We have also used his parents a lot in teaching with members. They are very dedicated missionaries.

Today Mark came to church in the Second Ward. He is so childlike and innocent. Everybody knows him because he works at Walmart and already loves him. He is so excited to be at church with everyone. He sits on the back row with us and shakes hands with everyone who comes thru. In our gospel principles class, he raises his hands and participates a lot. He also was asked to give the closing prayer(shock!). We just taught him about the order of prayer on Friday and he gave a perfect LDS prayer. We were amazed at him and he was very pleased with himself. Mark stayed for all three meetings. He also got invites with us to two different dinners. That was fun cause we can just take him with us.

Tonight is a Court of Honor for Elder Hathaway and Nelson Moak's Eagle award. We are going in an hour or so. They have been very supportive for us in lots of ways.
