Another surprise!!!

This week has just been full of surprises!! Today is no exception. First of all Ben got his call to Argentina North Mission. We are very excited for him!!

In the midst of getting his call, we had an apartment full of investigators who were over here to teach them how to make bread. Diana. (To be baptized next Saturday,) Stephan, and Jonathan, plus Elder Cragun and Elder Heywood, were all sitting around talking and eating home made bread and butter and jam. We taught Stephan today and will teach Jonathan on Saturday. Also they are going with us to a barbeque at Brother Stradlings tomorrow night. They are all from Africa and we just wanted them to become acquainted with the Elders and see what kind of men they are.

After the Elders left, we found out we would not be able to baptize Diana June 27 because she wants to have her brother here too. Also he called and said he wants to be there for her also. We really could understand even though we were disappointed. But we said, okay we will be back for the baptism anyway. So we called Elder Hanson and told him we could leave on Wednesday after all.

Just after all of them left, JoHanna came for her lesson. The spirit was very strong and we talked to her about Baptism and the Holy Ghost. This was only her third lesson. So we ask her how it would feel to have the Holy Ghost and to be baptized. She replied that it was something she wanted to do. She told us that she wanted to be baptized on June 27. Now this is the same day that Dianna was committed to be baptized. So we planned her program for June 27. She felt the spirit really strong and just did not want to leave our apartment. We just sat there and talked and listened to her for another while. Finally she decided that she needed to leave.

Now we have to call Elder Hanson and tell him we are back on for leaving the next Monday again. The problem is that the Elders cannot move into our apartment until we move out, so they will need to stay with the Elders in Mckinney. But Elder Hanson has said that our baptisms must come first. Life is only complicated when we try to figure things out before the Lord!

Tonight we are going out to have dinner with Joe and Tami Eilers. Joe is a nonmember, but a very good Christian. We have never met with him. Life is fun.
