Diana caught FOUR Fish!!

Yesterday we took Diana fishing down to Bro Stratling's ponds/tanks. We had a barbeque and had some good food, then we took her fishing up the hill. It took about an hour before she caught any fish. She must have lost at least ten of them that got off her line, but we saw them. Then she changed bate and just kept catching one after another. Each time she would jump up and down and cheer. It was so funny. It was almost dark and we had to tell her, it was time to go. But she just kept throwing her line back in again and again. She was so thrilled. We were bummed that we forgot to bring our camera. Dianna was very thrilled.

Today we were suppose to teach Jonathan and Stephan at 2 p.m. Because they didn't show for the fishing and barbeque last night, we were not sure they would show today for our lesson. We called them and Jon assured us that they would be here at 2 p.m. We were patient and sure enough at 2 p.m., they did show up.

We visited and had prayer and then started the lesson. The spirit was very strong. These young men seemed to be astounded at what was taught. They readily accepted the Book of Mormon, and as we discussed Joseph Smith and our purpose here on earth, they just seemed to accept each new concept. When we had finished and gave them the challenge to find out if the Book of Mormon was true, Jonathan said, he already knew it was true. It was an amazing feeling. They are anxious to hear the next lesson.
This is really hard for us, knowing that we are leaving supposedly this week. We are teaching them the second lesson on Monday. Things have just picked up since we have found out we were moving. It is awesome.

When the boys left our apartment today, they did not want to leave. They just sat here and thought about it. We explained to them that the feelings they were having were those of the Holy Ghost telling them the truth of the things they had heard. They were very somber. When they left, they just kept thanking us. Heavenly Father has blessed us greatly.
