Awesome Sunday! June 14

We had a few miracles that happened for us this week end. I thought I would take time to write them down. Yesterday morning, we did not have an agenda of people to visit, so we just decided to ask the Lord to prepare the way for those things that he wanted us to do.

First off, we went to see Diana so we could invite her room mates from Gabon to come to church on Sunday. When we got there, Diana came to the door wrapped in a towel only and said she was about to take a shower. So we told her we came to meet her room mates and invite them to church. So she invited us in and we went in and sat down and visited with her two which we thought were room mates. Later we found out that only one of them was a room mate. But we visited with them for a little bit and then invited them to come to our church tomorrow, (which was today.) They said they would like that! That was good.

When we went over there, Elder Whiting, asked me, "Now why are we going here?" It was kind of an air head thing to do, but I felt good about doing that. And it worked out because they did come to our church today and sat by us. They said they really enjoyed it. So we asked if we could come and teach them a little about it; and they said, "Of course." So we will be teaching Diana tomorrow night and them probably on Wednesday. Actually I set it up for Tuesday, but Elder Whiting reminded me that we have district meeting on Tues morning.

Sister Tammy Eilers was there with her whole family today, including Joe, her non member husband. Two of Tammi's daughters have been less active, so it was an occasion. I went up to Joe and asked if her wanted to come to Gospel Principles and he agreed. On the way to the class room he also agreed to meet with us on Tuesday and be taught!!! I am so excited about that because we have been waiting to meet with him for some time.

Back to Saturday, we were also able to meet with Leslie Lee and her daughter who has just moved back here. That was really good because she will need some help too. And through them, we will be able to teach Annette also, who they have been fellowshipping.

On Saturday also we were able to get in touch with JoAnn, who we have been teaching and invite her to church for today also. She also came to church and sat right next to Elder Whiting in the First Ward.

We have been so blessed to strenthen our teaching pool so quickly.
