A frustrating week

That title says it all. We feel like this week has been more of a trial for us. First of all it has been hot every day with high humidity. We have had a lot of visits that have fallen through after we got to the homes. The best thing that has happened to us all week, was the visit we have with Cory Hall. He is a black married to a white who has never received the Priesthood and has stopped coming to church.

We did have a ggreat visit with him and he did commit to come to church. But we will see if it really happens. We delivered some bread to people. We have not been able to meet with Rene and Johanna because of him working days. When we went to meet with him tonight, his baby was sick and I could tell they couldn't deal with a lesson too. So we offered to come back next week. It was the charitable thing to do. They said they would come to church if the baby is better by then. They were really pretty worried.

When we look at the people we are teaching, we have been very blessed. I just sometimes get impatient with myself and expect more.

We are teaching the Vasquez family, Jeremy Hall, and another one or two, that are investigators. We just need some miracles to happen so that we can move forward with the work.

It clouded up tonight and cooled off a little. Much nicer. Not a lot going on and besides we are speaking in church on Sunday. I definitely need an attitude adjustment!
