The last six days of our mission!! Wow, it has gone by so quickly. Wow, it has gone by so slow!!! Which is right? The first of our mission flew by so fast. Our time in Sulphur Springs has been difficult. Though we love the people, we have not been able to do missionary work the way we would like to.

There are so many families with problems here that are generally related to living as Heavenly Father wants us to live. It makes us sad. Because so many hearts are hard, there is little missionary work being done. This is sad to say, but e have more or less settled ourselves to just being a necessary part of the Branch.

Our ward mission leader has huge marital problems. They have split right now and we're not sure if they will make it back together. Last week the Mission Leader called a special meeting because he said there were hard feelings. He even included a prayer. Then he ask us what was going on. When we just told him that we were trying to support them in whatever they decide, he didn't say anything. We also told him that when there was a divorce everyone loses. I think he was very flabbergasted. About then he decided the meeting was over and didn't even bother to have a closing prayer. It was almost funny. I think it was him that was holding feelings. He has already had one divorce and two children. It is a sad situation.

We went to President Sant's home for dinner yesterday. They are always very nice and the dinner was yummy. They are very kind. Next Sunday after church we are going to be ready to pull out of here.
